Photo grouping in album view is inconsistent between mobile and desktop

On mobile (Android), photos are grouped in one day per row, regardless of the number of photos in each group. In an album with typically one daily photo, this wastes 75% of the screen space:

The desktop client stacks groups in each row to use all the available space:

Suggestions:

1. Align with the desktop layout and show more than one day per row, or
2. Dynamically change the grouping based on the number of photos in the group, e.g. if there are <9 photos within one week, show them as a week group instead of a group per day
