I dual boot Windows/Linux, and wanted to see how well the Linux port was going. I have been able to play the game successfully on both platforms, but now get an error when loading into a saved game, on both Linux and Windows. I do NOT get the error when starting a new game, It should load my saved games.

console.log

Additional (but probably useless) info
My steam library is on a btrfs partition, Windows is using this driver.

After switching from the steam deck branch to the 1.3 branch and using proton experimental I get the same error after loading my save game from the steam deck branch.

I'm using Arch Linux and BTRFS.

Have you tried playing on the deck-testing branch for Linux support, without using Proton? 1.3.0 doesn't have the changes for Linux yet. They should be integrated in 1.4.0 on but I would keep an eye on the changelogs just in case. deck-testing is an ephemeral branch for the Linux and Steam input changes

I played it native on the steam deck branch (and made the save game) and tried it with proton on the beta 1.3 branch now (and got the issue).

This save game is also always freeze load crashing without any error on the steam deck branch.
I created an issue ticket for this case.
