Steps to Reproduce

Go to Macromolecules mode - Flex mode
Load from file: Side chain connection is not shown for presets w_o bases connected from phosphate to sugar.zip
Switch to Sequence mode

Actual behavior
Side chain bond is not shown

Expected behavior
Bond is shown
