This setting isn't honoured it seems. The text doesn't show up on the site.

Are you sure you configured it on your main blog and not your test blog?

I wasn't able to reproduce the issue on my site.

I'll retake a look at it tomorrow with fresh eyes.

Can you provide me with the exact text you use in this "Description to show your header" setting?

Perhaps it is too long, a special character, or something throwing things off.

The original text was "I'm a compulsive creator (words, images, videos, podcasts). It's not always an easy journey, but it is a rewarding one. The podcast is all about sharing some thoughts about my experience as a creator."

I replaced with "ABC.". Same issue.

I need to manually modify the config.json file and enter the text there at the right setting for it to work.

Thanks. Do you have a custom theme on top of your Cards Theme? Seems like the config.js file should be written to directly from the plugin page.

Side note, you appear to have some duplicate categories in your header.

Apple & Tech and Apps & Services is listed twice.

Will start a full site rebuild, again, to fix duplicate categories. Thanks. I do have a custom theme defined and active with only one file into, the config.json as per your instructions.

Thanks.

Please be sure the parameters in your config match the new defaults.

I refactored a good bit, trying to clean things up and establish a good foundation for upcoming features.
