After reverse proxying, you can log in to the qbittorrent https internal network, but cannot log in to the external 5G network, and it shows that access is denied (please check your settings). Webui can log in successfully, and there are no problems with other people's projects.

I have the same issue. On the local network with it works fine with the IP, but reverse proxy through caddy does not work.

I am pretty certain I have everything configured correctly (changing only adress, port and SSL from the working lan setting)

The error log says

572 -- Fri Oct 25 15:45:08 GMT+01:00 2024 -- 3 -- AuthenticationFailure exception: Server rejected our login

But the authentication seems to work fine from a browser.

@erickok is there any more logging we can add here to try and work out what's going on?

I have the exact same issue. The log only says what lozbrown stated (AuthenticationFailure exception: Server rejected our login). Have been unable to login since approx. the release of qbittorrent 5.0. Can login via web browser, or nzb360 app, or with local address, but not with reverse proxy in transdrone. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Try disabling Enable Host header validation under WebUI.

That worked for me, what I missed before was to scroll down after setting it, and press save.
