Divide and Conquer

• Given a mixed array of number and string representations of integers, add up the non-string integers and subtract the total of the string integers.

• Return as a number.

Solution:

function divCon(x){
  return x.reduce((a, b) => a + (typeof b === 'string' ? -Number(b) : Number(b)), 0)
}

console.log(divCon([9, 3, '7', '3'])) // 2
console.log(divCon(['5', '0', 9, 3, 2, 1, '9', 6, 7])) // 14
console.log(divCon(['3', 6, 6, 0, '5', 8, 5, '6', 2,'0'])) // 13
