Not every one uses or want to use the wrb browsers from (among others) Google, with was several times punished with very high fines for breaking it's own privacy policies thtu spying on users and seling their data to the third parties

You are crying on a wrong grave - WebUSB is not supported by all browsers, so it is just telling you which browser you need to use https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/USB#browser_compatibility
