I appreciate that this is a taste issue and so this might be the wrong place for this discussion (if so, then where would be better?).
sounds/wake_word_triggered.flac
But both me and my wife have independently decided that we don't like how the wake word triggered noise sounds on the voice assistant PE, particularly on higher volumes.
I'm no audiophile, so forgive the description but it sounds low-quality - it has tinny sound to it, like when playing music too loud on a phone speaker, as if internal components are starting to rattle (a poor description, I know).
The other sounds sound good or great.
Tested on two voice assistant PEs.
Would be interested to hear others' thoughts on this.

I have to say my wife and I (both working in the media industry) really don't like most of the sounds. They are too loud and obtrusive for our taste - and of course they don't sound any better on the low-quality loudspeaker. I find the button sounds particularly harsh and annoying and also unnecessary with a tactile button. The mute sound has an unnecessary "swoosh" after the fitting “di-ding” that makes the sound effect longer than necessary.
The wake word triggered sound can be conveniently deactivated directly in HA. Fortunately, thanks to the open platform, I was able to remove the other sounds via ESPHome - so I'm happy ;)
My suggestions would be:
Make everything except "factory reset" & "timer" quieter (it's a sound effect - not speech you need to understand from across the room)
Remove swoosh from mute sound to shorten it
Either remove button sounds or at least make them shorter and softer
I'd also love to have a switch in HA to disable all "noncritical" sounds effects additional to the wake word triggered sound (at the moment "center button", "jack" & "mute").
Maybe a sound effect volume slider (like many mobile games have) would be great, too. There, you could set the volume to, for example, 50% of the master volume.
