- A lot of unused and unnecessary code remove, what left was simplified in many places.
- The build experience improved. The dependencies management migrated to Hunter C++ package manager. No system libraries are needed expect CUDA SDK if you want to build ethminer with CUDA support.
- But you don't have to build from source any more. The Continues Integration and Deployment systems have been configured to auto-deliver binaries for Linux, Windows and macOS.
- CPU mining fully removed, including on-disk DAG generation support.
