Rational

Metric needed: Most Recent Garbage Collected Chunk Timestamp: Report latest garbage collected file (time stamp)

User Story

A file stays temporary available for download. For good usage I need to know how long my file will be available. I would like to have good estimation for the availability of my content / file.

Epic link

Epic #2

Acceptance criteria

  • I can predict with enough certainty and known dependencies (see e.g. if network activity in relation to available storage in swarm increases therefore availability time decreases) how long my file will be available.

  • File is 24 hrs available for download after sync

Requirements

  • Development of Solution-Strategies

Work estimate

The terms "certainty" and "dependencies" need to be specificied way more in detail here.

For example, if someone decides to flood the network with chunks, network activity from the last few minutes might not be a valid heuristic.
