@barnabasbusa isn't this the default behaviour on Teku? I think this flag has to be I'm not sure what your intention is just based on the title of the PR. |

The point isn't to reduce the log size, the flag is set so that full sync would still work with bonsai post their latest update. And its besu not teku :D |
