Hi @Spaghetto392 , What opensnitch version are you using? 1.6.x? and are you using Discord desktop client or the browser? The desktop client opens connections to ports in the 50xxx range for sound, do you see connections logged to that ports range? Also setting LogLevel to DEBUG would be useful, under Preferences -> Nodes. For example, after changing the log level and before joining the voice channel, emtpy the log ( |

Quick question, what is the equivelant in the JSON config for Opensnitch also currently doesn't seem to be storing a log. I'm looking into that right now. Thank you. |

I don't know if this is useful on it's own, given I haven't enabled Opensnitch.log
For reference, I am using Armcord, which is an Electron wrapper around Discord's web UI. Same results happen on Firefox and Chromium. |

ok! by the way, according to the logs, it looks like opensnitch configured monitor method is "proc" (config item: ProcMonitorMethod). Review it if it's not intended. When the daemon starts up, it writes the following messages to the log file:

Hi, Firstly, thank you for your reply. Yes, Opensnitch is currently using "proc" on my device. Due to the kernel I'm using, So, with Here is the relevant part of the log: opensnitch.log
Hopefully this helps. |

@gustavo-iniguez-goya Just wanted to make sure that you saw the logs. That and I wanted to ask, should this be moved to issues instead of discussions? Thank you. |

Hi, @gustavo-iniguez-goya just wanted to ask, has there been any progress on this issue? Looking at other games, this seems to be a fairly common issue for multiplayer. I did a few months ago attempt to reach out to the creator of the NIXOS eBPF kernel module, but had no luck. |

Hi,
I recently got in contact with some old friends, and have been talking to them over Discord. We have been playing online games such as "Valheim" and "Deep Rock Galactic," However, every time I join the voice channel on Discord, or try to join a game online, I have to disable Opensnitch.
I thought this was originally an issue with ICMP traffic being blocked by Opensnitch, but now that that issue seems to be fixed, I am not ultimately sure what is happening. Allowing the traffic in Opensnitch doesn't do anything as far as I can tell.
Oddly enough, other software such as Element, and Signal both work fine under Opensnitch, so I'm guessing it's some form of different network traffic being blocked. I've read parts of the documentation I think would be relevant, but I'm still fairly new to networking and firewalls, so it is possible I've missed something very obvious.
Given, I don't believe this is a bug, I've filed this under 'discussions' instead of issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
