I tried running subj with vsthost, but I am not getting any spectrum in the gui. Otherwise gui seems to be working. Is there anything I have to do with wine configuration? I did connect output from my daw to input of vsthost_span. I succeeded to connect my daw to calf tools, so I know output is being sent.
Using Ubuntu 15.04, wine 1.6.2, dssi-vst from Ubuntu repo 0.9.2
Is vsthost supposed to work in such scenario?

That's the version I get from default Ubuntu packaging.
Can I get newer prebuilt dss-vst for Ubuntu?
I did succeed running SPAN vst in a differernt host application in wine and routing audio through jack to Pulseaudio sink in wine. SPAN worked, so it is not an issue with wine version or SPAN.dll.
The only debugging info I managed to get out was this message in QjackCtl Message window:
Sun Sep 27 23:31:21 2015: ERROR: JackAudioDriver::ProcessGraphAsyncMaster: Process error
Nothing in vsthost output even with -d3 which would look like an error.
