Trying to re-organize some dials and some interface issues to easily accomplish task.

Found I can drag a dial to the top group bar, thought it wouldn't work but does(great).

  • cannot drag to sub-groups, as have disabled there display on top list.
So if selection is active then re-organizing dials should be disabled allowing dropping into sub-group/dials. Currently cannot drag to sub-group of current group, get the dial re-org doing it's thing.

So features I would love to see to accomplish:

  1. From current group display like to drag dials into a group-dial. If that means holding down a shift-key, ctl, alt, win not an issue.
  2. Current selection works, but would like after say Move/Delete performed selection automatically terminates or a pop-up to perform, instead of having to select menu(whatever) to disable.

I can do what's needed, but enhancement only make it easier.

Just Food for thought, it's not some-one does often so effort should reflect demand. If you got 1m more subscribers it might be higher on your list.

This is feedback, no need to reply.

I see, thank you for the feedback!
These things are super complicated to do though :).
Although, now that I think about it, maybe it would be possible, to automatically activate the selection mode when the dragging starts and some modifiers key is pressed. And then automatically exit the selection mode after performing an action.

But dragging multiple items is a bit more tricky.
I'll see what I can do when I get to this :)

Note that the selection mode can be toggled also with the "s" shortkey - simply right click anywhere and press "s".
Also reloading tab stops the selection mode, so "F5" key or "Ctrl + r" woks too.
