Fun story, the first time I tried to build and install fastfetch from source, I realized I should've built a Anyways, the wiki describes how to build fastfetch: $ mkdir -p build
$ cd build
$ cmake ..
$ cmake --build . --target fastfetch However, the CMake file also has the $ mkdir -p build
$ cd build
$ cmake ..
