It is not possible to ensure FPM generated pages are both as small as possible, and as widely supported by old browsers as possible. For this reason we are going to have two build "profiles", which will let you select wide browser support at expense of using older features and possibly slower site, vs modern browser support where you can expect modern features, and can give overall faster site.
