So I am creating a world-building map, and I have a suggestion. I would love to see the ability to add multiple background layers and node layers that can be switched on and off in a single view.
This would be really useful for anyone using tiddlymap for cartography and they want to present a lot of information that could be overwhelming at first glance. For example, if you wanted to map out data by area in a city, you could create a node layer for each piece of data and then switch parts on and off to visualise whats happening.
Or in my case, I could use background layers to show/hide regions, geographical data, tectonic plates and so on.
Once again, thank you so much for creating this plugin, it is fabulous!

Hi @HazelMorris
thanks for your suggestion, it sounds like an interesting but challenging feature.
For the backgrounds it may not be too hard to be implemented but adding nodes to layers is not that easy.
I cannot say, when I find the time to work on this.
Just the backgrounds would be a wonderful feature, personally I don't need node layers. Thank you for having a look at the suggestion :)
Have a lovely day,
H
