I am also running into this issue with this TeamCity with a Windows agent. This process ran for 4.5 hours before I killed it.

Same. However, after manual download of python-2.7.14.amd64.msi from python site and "repair-install" - everything working fine. |
@link0802 I followed the above, but it still didn't resolve the issue. Do you know the name of the log file and where it expects it to be? |
I had removed Python 2 a long time ago, but it was still displayed in the "Installed Files & Programs " of Windows. I tried to run this like using So I tried to manually install Python and saw that an error occurred in the installation. To resolve, I searched for "Python 2 " and "Python-2 " in the entire Windows registry, I removed all the keys and the problem of installation just gone. 😃 I executed |

I left this on overnight to install (after struggling to get it to work previously), and even after running for 7 hours, Python still hasn't installed and there's still no installer log file being generated at all. It seems to me as if the Python installer isn't even being executed.
I've been trying to install this as I need it for stuff to do with my Discord bot I'm programming. Any help towards this issue would be greatly appreciated.
