What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. using inconsistent host names with add-one-ap or other scripts that
create new or apply changes to devices in cacti.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Cacti device entries are case sensitive so any situation that might cause a
device name (e.g. from netdisco) to attain a different case mix than what
is already in cacti will result in the creation of a new (probably
duplicate) entry.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
