The Spin maintainers would like to announce the forthcoming security release of Spin.

The release will be made available on May 8th, 2024 at approximately 19:00 UTC. Additionally, an advisory will be made available on May 8th, 2024 at approximately 14:00 at GHSA-f3h7-gpjj-wcvh.

The highest severity issue fixed in this release is critical, based on the Common Vulnerability Scoring System Version 3.1 classification scheme.

Fermyon Cloud is unaffected.
