Hello, is it possible to make a 1.20.1 version of Monocle?

Possible yes, but currently not looked into. I firstly want to see how 1.21 behaves before making a 1.20.1 version. After iris releases both 1.21 and 1.20.1 builds on CF, I will look into 1.20.1 if it makes sense. Until then I think Oculus is a better option for 1.20.1.

Oculus is not as good as it seems. I play Minecraft through an Asus ROG Ally console with Radeon integrated graphics. When playing with shaders (BSL Original, Complementary Reimagined) with Oculus the FPS fluctuates between 60 and 100, while with Iris the FPS is pretty stable at ~130-140 frames. For me, that's a very significant increase.

Oculus doesn't support the latest Distant Horizons on 1.20.1, and the compatibility of sodium on forge isn't as good as Embeddium, so I think it's necessary to port Monocle to 1.20.1.

Oculus is actually crashing my game when i change between shaderpacks, is that normal? Besides there's still this bug where the "falling leaves" mod leaf particle turn black when you grab a dropped item.

1.20.1 really need this mod in order to increase performance.
Neoforge performance >>> Forge Performance
Neoforge performance mods are much better than Forge optimization mods.
Forge really need help in optizimation
