For now I'll just roll back to version 2.5.3, where the CPU was displayed correctly |

I can't find a release 2.7 so I assume the one from the code tab here? I'll see if that one works. |

As I'm going through the old issues i saw this, does it works now ? I remember fixing something for core 2 duo at some point but dunno when. |
It does report as a Intel Core(TM)2 Duo, but it does not show the icon. Neofetch output:

Operating system & way of installation
Windows 10 Pro (latest updates). Installed (updated) through Pip.
Error/issue
I'm getting the errors "Unknown Motherboard" and "Unknown CPU".
On the previous pip version I only had the unknown motherboard error.
It seems like the Core 2 Duo detection has broken.
Other notes
On my laptop it's working fine now. At least last time I checked.
