Bonelabs compatibility?

I've tried to add the mod to Bonelabs, but I somehow can't find the "openvr_api.dll" file.

Am I just blind or is there something different with Bonelabs?

Bonelab doesn't use OpenVR, it uses OpenXR and is thus incompatible with vrperfkit. You can try your look with the OpenXR Toolkit instead: https://mbucchia.github.io/OpenXR-Toolkit/
