FightMe Terms of Service

PLEASE READ AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND ALL THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING FIGHTME SERVICES

These terms govern your access to and use of the Site and related websites, applications, services and mobile applications provided by us (together with the Site, all information and documentation, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms of use below.

  1. Amendments and Changes

    We may update or modify these Terms of Use from time to time. Modifications to these Terms of Use will be posted on or in the Services. In certain circumstances, we may choose to provide you with additional notice of such modifications by email, in-Service notifications or otherwise. Please review these Terms of Use periodically.

  2. Privacy Policy / Your Privacy Rights

    By using the Services, you represent that you have read and consent to our Privacy Policy. FightMe may revise the Privacy Policy at any time, and the new versions will be available at the above link. Lack of agreement to updated privacy policy will result in a withdrawal to access of services.

  3. Copyrights and Trademarks

    The information and materials provided on or through the Services, including any content, data, text, designs, graphics, images, photographs, illustrations, audio and video clips, logos, icons and links (collectively, the “Materials”) are owned exclusively by FightMe. The Services, including all Services software, databases, proprietary information, documentation, software, contents, computer codes, ideas, know-how and Materials (and all modifications and derivative works thereof and any intellectual property and other rights relating thereto or contained therein) including, without limitation, the selection, compilations, sequence and “look and feel” and arrangement of items, is owned and operated by FightMe and will remain the exclusive property of FightMe. You acknowledge that the Services are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You further acknowledge that you do not acquire any ownership rights by using the Services or the Materials.

  4. Fees and Payments

    1. Fees and Payments: Some aspects of the Services require you to pay a fee. You may also purchase certain subscriptions to the Services and/or digital or physical products through the Services. You agree to pay all fees, payments and applicable taxes incurred by your Account that you use to access the Services. You acknowledge and agree that all information you provide with regards to a purchase, including, without limitation, credit card or other payment information, is accurate, current and complete.

    2. Return and Refund Policy: All sales on or through the Services are final. Except as provided herein, there are no refunds or returns for the purchase of a subscription to the Services. If you reside in the European Union and you purchase a product or service from FightMe, you may have the right to withdraw from a purchase within fourteen calendar days, commencing on the day after the date of purchase (the “Cooling Off Period”). However, you lose your right of withdrawal if the performance of the services begins before the end of the Cooling Off Period.

  5. Third Party Conditions

    In order to access and use the services laid out in these Terms of Use, all users must firstly agree and adhere to the Terms of Use of our third party partners. A prerequisite to the use of the FightMe tournaments is a valid account held with Riot, and the relevant means to prove identity and make payments. Below are links to the external Terms of Use:

  6. Third Party Clients

    LoL is a game or skill, and therefore the outcome of matches solely lies on the players. (exception to this will be technical faults with the League of Legends client and will result in anything up to a re-match). FM takes no responsibility for what happens through the course of a live game given operating software is owned by 3rd parties. FightMe is solely responsible for the infrastructure surrounding the tournament organisation.

  7. Cheating & Match Fixing

    Cheating will not be tolerated, and if proven will result in a ban from the platform. Match Fixing is a criminal offence and is prosecuted globally. Any instances will be reported to local authorities and dealt with at their discretion. Any user involved in cheating or match fixing will immediately be banned from the platform

  8. Gambling Prohibition

    FightMe is not a platform that in any way facilitates or encourages Gambling. The platform is purely for competitive play and betting on FM games is strictly prohibited Any user involved in gambling on FM games in a manner compromising the integrity of the platform will be immediately banned from the platform.

  9. Good Conduct

    Fightme expects all platform users to behave in a professional manner. Given this is a platform designed to promote and develop eSports, we expect players & teams to be mindful of their behaviour. Given the above, Fightme has put together a code of conduct that we expect all users to follow
    FM reserves the right to refuse service to users if poor conduct is consistently demonstrated

  10. Location

    The Services are operated by FightMe in the United Kingdom. Those who choose to access the Services from locations outside the United Kingdom do so at their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.

  11. Team Names

    FightMe reserves the right to remove or change any team name that breaches the below terms:

    1. Sexist / Racist / Abusive: Any name deemed to be derogatory or inflammatory to anyone of any sex, creed, religion or race will be liable to change. This is at the sole discretion of FightMe and non-negotiable.

    2. Breach of copyright: Teams should not be created under the banner of established brands. This is a breach of trademark and will lead to an enforced name change. This is at the sole discretion of FightMe and non-negotiable.
