Minutes

• Chamindra gave an update on the last License working group meeting and the progress on the InnerSource license generator
• Joe Zang and Michael Volkov who were on the SIG call are also joining the development of the license generator
• It was decided to add the license generator code to the FINOS labs. James asked for a mail to be send to help@finos.org. It will be promoted to a more official FINOS Incubator repository when it is more mature
• Brittany gave an update on the InnerSource SIG plans and some of the end goals that we want to deliver including a maturity model for InnerSource. She will be providing a detailed play
• The lack of a secretary presents a challenge in effective communications. James mentioned that this was a more formal structure in the past and this role can be taken by the SIG co-leads.
• The co-leads had decided to dive the work as following in a meeting they had last week
  • Overall detailed SIG plan and main agenda for meeting was to be done by Brittany
  • Updates at each meeting on Licensing WG will be added by Chamindra
  • Logistics of meeting issues, announcement and notices to be done by Chamindra
  • Minute taking to be done by Miguel
• It was decided to have the meeting every two weeks on Tuesday 4pm BST, 11am EST on every other week to the OSR meeting as it was a time that the co-leads could attend. There will be representation at OSR on the 4th week
  • The next meeting will be on Tuesady the 25th 4pm BST, 11am EST
• We need to engage with InnerSource commons on finding a new contact with FINOS since Clare Dillion is no longer the secretary of the SIG
• Brittany will be reaching out to InnerSource Commons to find partnership and work out an engagement model
