Hi!

Nice work! Would love to get this working after anxdpanic/plugin.video.youtube no longer works without login to YouTube (see: anxdpanic/plugin.video.youtube#1091).

Description of the bug
While the plugin works fine on the current Chromium, the plugin for Firefox is not working (Firefox as well as LibreWolf, a Firefox fork). I configured all browser plugins the same way.

It seems as if the plugin can't connect to Kodi (see second screenshot with the configuration menu). When opening the plugin manually in Kodi, it says that it can't resolve the URL (see log).

Additionally, there's some weird behavior going on in the settings menu of the plugin. When selecting a connection profile, a semi-transparent white rectangle is dragged by the mouse until the user clicks the mouse button. This only happens on Firefox/LibreWolf.

Version and plattform:

  • Kodi: Version 21.2
  • Addon: 0.9.8.1
  • Plattform: LibreELEC 12.0.2 on a RaspberryPi. Browsers running on Ubuntu/Kubuntu 24.04.

This shows the semi-transparent rectangle and that the ping does not work:
