Disappearing dependency

I am facing some strange behaviours using FitNesse with the Maven Classpath Plugin.

This seem to be more of a Maven Classpath Plugin issue and I don't just want my project to work fine, I want to understand how it works.

Moreover, I' would really like to have my project classpath handled by the pom to avoid tedious tasks of dependency handling. And I'd really like to benefit from all the nice work you did on this feature.
