When I run Signal in a terminal, I get a few errors:
$ flatpak run org.signal.Signal [... snip some lines ...] LaunchProcess: failed to execvp: xdg-settings Gtk-Message: 09:46:54.974: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module" [...]
Isn't xdg-settings built and/or accessible to the flatpak?
What about the gtk-pk-module?

Signal takes a very long time to launch, not sure whether those errors are related, but they probably don't help anyway. 🤷
