Moments' Tracker allows making bookmarks that persist across sessions. I managed to install it by copying 168031-moments_tracker_V1.lua to ~/.var/app/org.videolan.VLC/data/vlc/lua/extensions/. I can open the "Moments and checkpoints tracker" window (View -> Bookmark your moments), but after I click "Capture moment", give it a name and press "Confirm", the moment doesn't appear in the moments list. closing and reopening the window or VLC itself doesn't help. the app has host-level file system access by default, so I ran out of ideas as to what causes this.
I tried the extension in VLC 3.0.16-1 from Debian stable and there it works, so the bug is specific to the flatpak version.
