When running directly and trying to change a package version I get:

This is happens no matter what package I try change or version I try to change to.
When running from the terminal with the command "flatpak run io.github.flattool.Warehouse" the version change succeeds with the output of the terminal being:

Note that '/var/lib/flatpak/exports/share' is not in the search path
set by the XDG_DATA_HOME and XDG_DATA_DIRS
environment variables, so applications may not

Downgrading to Warehouse 1.6.5 fixes the issue.

Hello, sorry about the delay in me responding to this!

Do you still have this issue? I've been unable to reproduce it myself. Is it possible that the remote the app was from just happened to be down for a moment, or DNS was having a minor issue? This appears to be a network issue rather than a Warehouse issue.

Oh also, the message about the XDG_DATA_DIRS is a normal thing with Flatpak, and it depends on how your distro has Flatpak configured. Usually it only appears with the first downgrade you do until you log out and back in.

No worries on the delay, it's the holidays! This is the last thing to be worried about during that time.
I tried it on a separate machine running the same OS and used both a wired and a cellular network connection (to rule out my hardware firewall) with the same result. When I get back to my main system I will spin up a VM using stock Ubuntu and see what happens.
It's not a major problem since running from the terminal succeeds and I only use it to change versions if a problem arises. But I like the new Warehouse version with regards to the way it presents package information and the layout of the display.

This happens with me too.. system is KDE Plasma 5.27.10.. change version doesn't work with warehouse, returns "error: Server returned status 404".

Works in the terminal when I enter the commands to list commits, then flatpak update to the commit.
