GKE Autopilot uses its Cloud DNS by default since September 2023. This change requires a flag to enable.
There's a recent fix on the main branch (not yet released) that allows TF-Controller to work on GKE Autopilot with Cloud DNS.

Configuration tested:

  • GKE Autopilot
  • Cloud DNS
  • Kubernetes v1.27.3-gke.100
  • Flux v2.1.0
