Describe the bug
When editing a (python) file on an OC2 computer with vi, upon writing the changes, the character previously highlighted by the cursor is changed to upper case.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior: example.py;
print("This is an exsample")
from terminal vi example.py (with existing code)
enter insert mode (i key), fix the typo by deleting the character "s", leaving the cursor at the character "a"
enter normal mode (on 2015 macbook pro this is done with the option/alt + n keys)
write the changes (by typing :w followed by the enter/return key), notice the character previously "a" is now "A"
Log files
N/A
Expected behavior
should not change the character case (the same is true in reverse i.e. "a" -> "A" -> "a", etc.)
Screenshots

Versions (please complete the following information):
Minecraft: 1.18.2
Forge: 40.1.0
OC2: 0.1.7
Sedna: 1.0.13
Markdown Manual: 1.2.1
Additional context
Also noticed that when writing the example file for testing, writing the changes with the cursor at the end of the single line file caused the "p" of "print" to become "P".
This issue can be avoided by writing the changes with the cursor on an empty line.
