I would really appreciate the possibility to add multiple invoices to one order. We use FS to settle for the meal we cook at pickup days, and I often get multiple bills from the cooks.

hey hamaryns! This is a interesting use-case! Yes I think expanding the order settlement to include multiple invoices would be possible in general.
But I'm not sure if this is actually the best solution. Can you maybe explain a bit further how you use foodsoft for this?
For me it sounds that a feature like a "Event", that has "participants", "tasks" and "invoices" might be a more suitable solution for this?

Though I can also think of more use-cases for having multiple invoices to a order.

I've had some cases when I could have used that:

  • Sometimes a supplier sends two partial invoices for one order, or an invoice and a credit (in case we had sent them a complaint). In those cases, we have to combine those invoices into one Foodsoft invoice, which isn't very clean, but possible, as they are from the same agent.
  • If the transport is billed separately by a different agent, e.g. we've rented a transporter or paid a parcel service directly. Then we can only use finance links to link them to one order.

We have a supplier called ‘This we do ourselves’, which has 2 products: meal for adult and meal for child. People order a meal and on the day when the products are picked up (from the other supplier), there is a meal where people that ordered it can join. They pay by their Foodsoft credit.
Mostly there are two or more cooks, which often each do some shopping. So I get multiple receipts for the ingredients of the meal. Now I add them together using a pdf editor as twothreenine seems to do as well, but that is elaborate and if in the future I want to hand over the treasurership to someone else who is less tech-savvy, this will become a problem.
