To help avoid magic strings in Apex code and to help when removing picklist values from an org, it would be great if the SalesforceDX VSCode extension auto generated a class to represent picklist values, like below:
public class OpportunityStageNames {
public static final String New = 'New';
public static final String NeedsAnalysis = 'Needs Analysis';
public static final String Qualification = 'Qualification';
// etc... one property per picklist value
}
These classes could get generated / re-generated each time the Refresh SObject Definitions command gets run.
