Hi there, is there any chance of adding a peek_amount(n) variation that does advance the cursor? This was confusing behavior for me at first, thinking that it'd advance the cursor n elements. peek_forward or peek_amount_and_advance might be good method names.

Thanks for the great little library, it saved me a lot of headache today!

Either way :) I don't have a lot of time to do this personally, was just a passing thought when using the lib for the first time today.
