Describe the bug
Voice input cannot be used after installation because no mic icon is shown in chat on a Oneplus 5T with its original OS. In the settings of SUSI.AI I cannot enable the mic input. The button is disabled or grayed out.
I tested it with a lineageOS (Android 7.1.2) on a Galaxy S3 and it worked right after installing.

Expected Behaviour

On a proprietary OS from Oneplus voice input can be used after installation.

Steps to reproduce it

On a Oneplus 5T phone (with a current OS version - see below) install SUSI.AI app from Fdroid store, accept audio recording request and try to use voice input.

Thanks.

That looks like an emulator. Which android version do you use and is it a Oneplus 5T device with an android from Oneplus?

That's an emulator running android oreo. I have also tested in redmi note 5 pro, running android pi. It worked fine on both the devices.

Okk.
Did you test it in other devices?

I tested it only on the two devices mentioned already:

  • Oneplus 5T / OxygenOS (Issue is present )
  • Samsung Galaxy S3 / lineageOS (Issue is not present)

It might also be some misconfiguration on my 5T. To find out it would be good to know if it happens on 5Ts of other people, too.

This exact issue is happening for me on a Motorola Moto G4 (Athene) with runnin /e/ version 0.7 (Android 7.1.2) with susi.ai app version 1.1.0 from F-Droid. Same thing: no mic option for input and the Mic options in settings are greyed-out.

Same thing with S9+ with /e/ with susi.ai from F-Droid.
