I see multiple ways to create a cold backup. Either you use the raspiBackup helper script which can restore a tar or rsync backup into a image file or directly on a device, e.g. SD card. Then you just have to make sure the restore task is executed when raspiBackup created a new backup. Or you use rpi-clone to create a cold backup directly on a SD card. |

Hi,
@framps Thanks for your awesome project.
I saw a backup mechanism, which is cool, and I back up my SD card scheduled by systemd.
But what about the job of restoring SDCARD?, I have attached the SDCARD to my Raspberry Pi, and I want a cold backup once there any problem with my main SDCARD, then I will be able to replace the SDCARD with the new one.
WDYT?
