Can't view assets when using an Asset link type

I'm having a problem seeing my assets when using the Asset link type. When I go to select an asset the folders are all there but they appear empty. If I upload an image it does upload but does not appear in the list. Other areas of the site where I select assets it's working fine. I've tried updating the Assets index.

I've got Navee 1.1.1 on Craft 2.6.2949.

I can't seem to recreate this one. I've tried using both local and S3. Were you ever able to resolve this?

Hi, I'm also experiencing this issue. Using local assets, Craft CMS 2.6.2994, Navee 1.3.0; tested on both php 5.6 and 7.1; can't see any related errors in the logs.
