Unable to fetch videos and thumbnails when excluding GrayJay from VPN (Mullvad VPN Split Tunneling)

What happened?

Hi, using GrayJay Desktop works completely fine when I am not connected to my VPN (Mullvad VPN v2024.8). When connected via Mullvad I get an issue similar to this issue on GrayJay Android where YouTube videos refuses to load/play past the one minute mark.

I attempted to exclude the GrayJay executable from the VPN tunnel by using Mullvads Split Tunneling feature but this only resulted in any videos/thumbnails refusing to load. See the following screenshot:

I am unsure if this is on behalf on Mullvad or GrayJay but nonetheless I figured I should atleast report it to you guys since I now have to completely disable my VPN to be able to use GrayJay.
