Sturdy is an AKL keyboard layout that aims to increase rolls as much as possible, while minimizing redirects (particularly ones that don't involve the index finger,) with relatively low usage. This is one of the more popular alt-keyboard layouts, once you look further than Dvorak and Colemak.
