The (Background) button when tapped to (Video) will remain in Audio regardless of not finishing video, closing a video and playing a new one, or playing a playlist. The button will go bacl to (Baclground) but as long as you do not completely closs Grayjay, it will play in the background.

I can see why it is an issue, especially if say you forgot thw app is still in Background Mode without realizing because of the button going back to Background without actually taking effect but it's really not an issue with me.

If I recall by default inside Grayjay settings, any "video" you watch when leaving the app will automatically play in tbe background and when you go back to the app, it will automatically switch to Video without having to oress anything. I turned it off on my phone to keep processes to minimum but again not an issue to me. Nevertheless I agree, it is an old bug that needs to be looked at eventually.
