not a huge fan of the new automatic full screen view for vertical videos

liked it better when vertical videos were shown in the regular video viewer because the new one hides the controls for navigation and it just looks worse, if you want it to be full screen theres literally the fullscreen button at the bottom left.

Proposal

would be nice if there was an option to change it back to the old way, not sure where else to put this but i think its important

Could you provide a screenshot with navigation controls being hidden? I wasn't able to reproduce it.
