Current data citation policy text reads as the following: need better text here and feedback.
The FuTRES data store contains data from member projects
Please refer to the following data usage and citation policies for each data source when using this data in your research.
# GEOME data sources
GEOME projects each have their own data policy. We have not yet implemented an automated script
to display individual project information, instead you may refer directly to GEOME and search for individual
projects under the GEOME team for particular data usage policies.

# VertNet
Vertnet records appearing in GEOME have been extracted from Vertnet using a special processing script, further processed, and then ingested using fovt-data-pipeline processing code.

the download should include how FuTRES wants this information to be cited (i.e., if it appears in a paper. some text like "Please cite as FuTRES. 2021. An Online Resource for all the measurements ever on horses. Accessed on 1 January 2021.
whatever we decide this should say - can we make it the same as the citation listed in GEOME? We talked this through while we were experimenting with downloads having citation information embedded in the csv that pops out. So for example in my project in GEOME Florida Museum Environmental Archaeology Program Comparative Collection Data Overview we had listed the citation as "Emery, Kitty F. and Nicole Cannarozzi. 2020. Trait data from modern animal specimens curated in the Environmental Archaeology Program Comparative Collections, Florida Museum of Natural History. Data curated by the FuTRES Database Project (www.futres.org)" AND we had one too for the expedition - "Emery, Kitty F. and Nicole Cannarozzi. 2019. Metrics from select modern deer specimens curated in the Environmental Archaeology Program Comparative Collections, Florida Museum of Natural History, University of Florida. FuTRES Expedition Dataset http://n2t.net/ark:/21547/DUu2"
I don't care how the citations end up, just that everything is standardized to be the same(ish)
