Attribute table columns organized as per .qgs project (fields order)

Motivation

Depending on the business development needs of the QGIS project, new fields are added to the database. In the attribute table, QGIS displays by default the last entered field as the last column. We can use the Organize Columns function in QGIS, to order the columns according to the importance of the required data.

When importing the project in G3W, the order of the columns is not taken from QGIS.

Is there any possibility to order the columns in G3W? Or should a feature be developed?

Suggested solution

When importing the .qgs project in G3W, the display order of the columns will be the same order as modified with Organize Columns from QGIS.

This function is not yet managed by the suite

We may consider implementation in release 3.8 (April 2024)

The next release will be released tomorrow and clearly it is not possible to handle this new feature
