Contents of Android 'Camera' File Don't Always Appear When File Icon Clicked #407

I cannot get OpenMTP to display reliably the contents of the 'Camera' file of my Android phone (version 13), and so I can't transfer these contents to my desk computer (which runs Mac Sequoia 15.1.1). The file icon shows up on the Android side of the split screen (after I click on the 'DCIM' icon), but when I click on the 'Camera' icon, the app usually throws up a full-sized blank screen. I have tried one more time just now and it's worked - all the contents are now displayed - but how do I get the app to do this every time?

Actually, not all of the contents of my Android 'Camera' file showed up - only a small proportion of them. And once again, nothing has come up when I quit and restarted OpenMTP and clicked on the 'Camera' file - this time in list view.
