locking after suspend option?

And if it does exist already, can you tell me how to do it or add it to the wiki on your website and/or in the manpages?

I want to make a script in my i3 window manager to lock after suspend, but all the ways I see online to do this require the use of systemd, can you tell me how to do this with openrc?
I made a python script which works for duration based locking thanks in part to your simple example, but yeah, let me know if your willing okay?

Truthfully I also emailed you about this, but I just want to make sure my request is seen. Hopefully you understand, I mean you don't like systemd either right?
