What would you like to be added:
It'd be helpful to have metrics about certificates which are about to expire (configurable). Cert controller tries to renew certificates automatically but this might fail for various and non-recoverable reasons.

Why is this needed:
Respective metrics will allow to setup alerts to warn operators about potential issues.
