limits and bugs with a new blank map

hello! i am coming across bugs and stuff when trying to customize a blank map.

using firefox 91.0.4 on macos 11.4

i dont know how to move or place special tiles. they arent applying. neither are the floors :-0

and under Creating Backgrounds # 3, the Youtube Tutorial on the Background Painter links to a private video which i cannot watch :-( link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwgixlNM6-w

i can however apply objects to the map

i think there may be an issue when sign up takes me to sign in? i never make a password and the site kept reseting my avatar.
when i click finish on the avatar customization it just takes me right back

i am now able to place/move special tiles but the map cannot start as blank
