Gaffer Major Release

We are planning to start work soon on a Gaffer v2.0 major release which will make some breaking changes, including:
• removing items previously deprecated in v1. We will publish a list first.
• upgrading the Java version used from 8 probably just to 11.
• up versioning our dependencies
• changing the way query federation works
• changing the way NamedOperations work.

We will be continuing to release v1.* versions for some time. In parallel with this we will start to release v2 alphas in which we incrementally change subsets of the code as above. We are working towards the creation of dockered test environments that will allow people to run tests in these alphas. Eventually, these alphas will mature into v2.0 candidate releases.

We are also looking at a complete overhaul of the documentation for Gaffer, that hopefully will make v2 more accessible to new users.
