Bug description

The "forward" and "backward" icons are missing in the bottom bar, the "toggle filter bar" icon is also missing

Steps to reproduce

build from git and open the app

Hey, how did you build it? Flatpak, or a plain Python virtual environment? Did you use the steps described in DEVELOPMENT.md?

The icons you mentioned are bundled with the app, so that it can also happen, that I messed up something with the meson post-install stuff in #800, though it worked last time, and the same thing works in other apps too.

I just used the "build and run" button in gnome builder, all the required packages are installed i doubble checked

I just had the same issue in Flatpak. Turns out we didn't bundle "emblem-default-symbolic":
